The Mash Tun, Aberlour
Just around the corner from the Aberlour Distillery. Built by an ex-sea captain, the hotel is surprisingly shaped like a ship. All is ship-shape inside too since being completely renovated in 2004. Accommodation consists of four attractive bedrooms, each named after a local distillery, and the grander Aberlour Suite. Good food, a range of Aberlour malts and a genial host add to the delights.
