There is so much to see and do around Speyside that
one visit to the region will certainly not prove enough. There
are those who come primarily for fishing or hunting, for hill-walking
or bird-watching, or for golf. For others, of course, the main
attraction is the whisky, with the Aberlour Distillery an essential
port of call.
For the more general visitor there are castles
and smugglers' trails, mysterious ancient monuments and haunted
ruins, traditional craft fairs, Highland games, and scenery to
rival anywhere else in the world. No wonder that so many of those
who visit Speyside find themselves returning there again and again.
