"A kind of pasty. It is made completely with rye flour and has rice porridge as a stuffing. It's served hot. On the table, everybody puts desired amounts of egg-butter on top of it. The egg-butter is simply butter mixed together with cooked and mashed eggs."

Mämmi (or Maemmi)
"A dark almost black, malty (rye), Easter-time delicacy. Consistency is thick and velvety. Mämmi dates at least from the 13th century. It's made of rye flour and rye malt, seasoned with dark molasses, salt and powdered orange peel; naturally sweetened and finally baked in oven and then stored a few days in a fridge. It takes usually about a week in total before the mämmi is ready to be eaten. It's usually served with cream (some add also a little bit of sugar)."
